Privacy policy

This policy explains how Pulse POS Solutions handles information through this website and its restaurant software services.

Last updated 5 October 2026

Who we are

Pulse POS Solutions provides restaurant point-of-sale software and setup assistance from New York, United States. You can contact us at .

When processing order information for a restaurant, we use it to provide the merchant’s configured service. Restaurants, delivery platforms and payment providers also have their own privacy policies.

Information we handle

  • Merchant and staff information. Names, business contact details, location information, authorized user details and support correspondence supplied for setup or service.
  • Menu and configuration information. Items, modifiers, prices, operating hours, printer settings and integration identifiers.
  • Order information. Order references, items, totals, payment status, timestamps and fulfillment status. Customer names, phone numbers, delivery addresses and instructions may be included when supplied by the merchant or ordering platform.
  • Technical and support records. Service messages, diagnostic logs, troubleshooting captures, configuration records and backups. These records can include information associated with an order.

How we use information

We use information to set up and operate the service, manage menus and authorized connections, receive and process orders, provide support, investigate errors, protect systems and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell merchant or diner information. We do not use it for unrelated advertising or share it with advertisers for that purpose.

Order information may be displayed to authorized restaurant staff or included on configured receipts and kitchen tickets so the restaurant can fulfill the order.

When information is shared

Information may be processed by the merchant’s authorized staff, connected ordering platforms and providers used for hosting, communications, backups, software development or technical support. We use these providers to deliver and maintain the service, not to sell customer information.

Service records and troubleshooting captures may be stored in operational systems, backups and restricted development repositories. This can involve third-party infrastructure and processing outside the restaurant’s premises. Provider storage locations may differ from the merchant’s location.

We may disclose information when required by law or to address fraud, security incidents or threats to legal rights. A change of operator or business ownership would require appropriate review of applicable agreements and privacy obligations.

Retention

Retention depends on the type of record and its purpose. Order and service records may be kept for ongoing merchant operations, support, reconciliation or legal recordkeeping. Technical captures and backups have separate storage and recovery requirements and may remain after an active record is removed.

Deletion is not an automatic consequence of closing a support issue or ending a connection. Contact us to discuss a particular record or retention request. We review requests against applicable obligations, the merchant’s instructions and available backup copies.

Your requests

You may contact us to ask about personal information or request access, correction or deletion. We may need to verify your identity or authority before discussing or changing records. Available rights and the handling of a request depend on applicable law and our role in providing the service.

For a restaurant order, start with the restaurant or delivery platform responsible for the order. If your request concerns Pulse POS processing, contact us and identify the relevant merchant without including unnecessary sensitive information.

Security

We restrict administrative access to authorized operators and use HTTPS for hosted service connections. Security also depends on the merchant’s equipment, accounts and configured providers. No storage or transmission system can guarantee complete protection against unauthorized access or loss.
